We woke up to FRESH SNOW at the Brim this morning! That's right, you may not have it where you live, but we have LOADS of snow out here at Brimacombe. There is still ample time to add more vertical to your skiometer this season.

Beginning Monday, March 14, 2011, Brimacombe will be open as follows:

Monday, March 14 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 15 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 16 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 17 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, March 18 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 19 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 20 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 23 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 26 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 27 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

* All night passes will be accepted during the evenings of Wednesday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 23.

All dates are, of course, weather dependant.

Unfavourable weather may result in the odd day or night closure, but should not be confused with a lack of snow on the slopes. Always check our website, or call the snowline (905)983-7669 before heading out.

The FINAL event in our SATURDAY NIGHT RAIL JAM SERIES took place last night in the Main Terrain Park. We had a great turnout and show of talent, all of the competitors thew down some impressive tricks. Here are some shots of the action;

Brimacombe is proud to present the 2011 Big Air brought to you by, our very own Brimacombe Proshop and Rentals, Monster, Rome, Scott, Scotties, Coal, 686, Sessions, Oakley and Clarke Sommervilles Sports

The Run Down

 Registration and Sign-in starts at 9:00 day of the comp
 Registration and Sign-in ends at 11:00 day of the comp
 Mandatory Riders Meeting @ 11:15 in the Park at the Big Air Setup
 Comp starts at 11:30
 1 and half hour jam session
 Finals will begin at 1:30

Comp Format

 One and half hour Jam Session (controlled drop-ins)
 Riders will be scored on the tricks they can throw down, biggest tricks stomped puts you in the finals
 Skier 10-15 years old and Skier 16 and over categories and snowboard 10-15 years and 16 and over categories
 Awards for top three finishers and overall best trick
 MAIN TERRAIN PARK will be will be CLOSED for competition.
 Brimacombe Park Pass and Comp pass/lift ticket or membership are required

Riders must be 10 years or older

HELMETS MANDATORY, NO INVERTED MANEUVERS

$15 Early Bird registration fee, paid in person before day of event at Main Office East Chalet.

$20 day of event registration

$20 Comp pass lift ticket, gives access to Standard lift during event hours only.

BRIMACOMBE'S ANNUAL PUDDLE JUMP!

SUNDAY MARCH 27, 2011 at 11AM

Join us as we say Good bye to another season at Brimacombe and Hello to SPRING! This event is open to everyone, free of charge and is TONS of fun. Brave the chilly waters of the 80' long man-made "Lake Brimacombe" or hang out "Beach side" and watch the action. Beach attire is strongly recommended (So is a change of clothes!)

~Non-members are required to sign a Special Events Waiver (found under LINKS at http://www.brimacombe.ca/ or at the Main office on the day of the event. Those under 18 years of age require a parent or legal guardians signature).

~Membership or Lift tickets required

~HELMETS MANDATORY!

~Register the day of the event in the East Chalet any time before 11am. All participants will be issued a wrist band, wrist band must be worn visibly during event.
