We saw FRESH SNOW fall from the skies today which was the icing on the cake for our conditions! The forecast for this week is showing 15-20cm more on Thursday so make some plans to get in some "downtime" this week at the Brim!

As of February 5, 2013 we are still pumping out the SNOW.To date we have made about 25% more than last season and climbing! Our major pond expansion has proven to be a life saver this winter allowing us to pump continually without the need to shut down and recharge. Having this available reserve of water has been especially important due to the fact that we have basically battled TWO major "January thaws" this year and came out on top! Our current goal is to build enough reserve on our open terrain to carry us through the winter as we are now winding down our "snow making season".

This is to inform you of the recent operational changes taking place at your club, effective Monday, February 4th, 2013.
Being a seasonal business, we do our best to roll with the punches when Mother Nature decides to stiff us for a day or two. With the ever-changing weather conditions, current labour disputes resulting in reduced revenue this season, we’ve made the decision to alter our terrain and lift-ticket prices to reflect our offerings and attract more visitors.
Weekday Changes are as Follows:
-TUESDAY TO FRIDAY WE WILL OPEN TERRAIN FROM PARK AVENUE TO FLYER ONLY ( Conditions permitting. Same terrain as available for night skiing will be available for day skiing).
-GATE 1, the WEST CHALET, the WEST CHAIR and TERRAIN WEST OF THE FLYER WILL NOT BE OPEN DURING MID-WEEK DAYS.
-ALL MID WEEK DAY TIME LIFT TICKETS WILL BE $20 taxes inc.
While we understand this may not be appeasing news, we feel that adjusting our weekday rates and facility operations is a step forward in ensuring a bright future for our club, and we appreciate your understanding as we make these changes.

Brimacombe is proud to present the 2013 Saturday Night Rail Jam Series!
Brought to you by our very own Brimacombe Slopeside Retail Store, Rome, Oakley, 686, Scotties, & Clarke Sommerville Sports.
Save when you register in advance! $20 per event in advance and $50 for all three, or $25 per event when you register day-of.
The Run Down:
- Registration and sign-in for the Rail Jam starts at 4:00 p.m. day of the comp. Registration and sign-in ends at 5:30 p.m. day of the comp.
- Mandatory Riders Meeting at 5:45 p.m. in the fenced in area at the rail set-up.
- Comp begins at 6:00 p.m.
- 1 hour jam session.
- Finals will begin at 7:30 p.m.
- Prizes and awards will be tossed out following the rail comp.
Riders must be 11 years of age or older to compete. Helmets mandatory. Waivers required. All competitors must have a 12/13 Park Pass and either a valid lift ticket or membership. It is recommended that all competitors park in Parking Lot #4, in case the awards run late and the lifts are closed.
