March break is upon us and there is a hint of spring in the air. The temperature rose above zero today and I caught a hint of "that smell" in the air. It's a rich earth smell, like the trees have exhaled.

We will be open this week for night skiing on Wednesday March 12th and Saturday March 15th. The Brimacombe Ski Racing Club is running their annual Intro to Ski Racing program over the next couple of days. This is the biggest group of participants yet and they all had a blast today.

The Canadian Association of Disabled Skiers -Durham Chapter runs a successful 8 week program here at Brimacombe each winter. It's great to see that everyone can enjoy our sport. This weekend a group of fine folks are working hard to get certified as CADS instructors.
