Finally, SNOW!

Well, good news folks! The snow is finally here. Last night Mother Nature delivered, bringing with her a few inches of the white stuff!

And thanks to the sustained cold temperatures, this past weekend, we were able to get our guns up and running again. In fact, we had a total of 40 guns blasting at full capacity just yesterday. Bring on the snow!

Solid snow making temperatures are expected for the rest of the week, beginning again on Thursday, when our team will crank the guns up again in preparation for opening day.

With optimal snow making temperatures predicted in the long-term forecast, we are pushing hard to open this Saturday, January 2, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop with any new updates via Facebook, Twitter and brimacombe.ca. You can also keep an eye on our web cams and watch us continue to deliver snow onto the slopes.

Brimacombe Snow School's eight-week lessons are still a go for their original start dates.  If for some reason we are forced to delay the start dates by a week, the whole program would simply shift a week later; however, as mentioned, at this time we don’t anticipate this being an issue. Again, any updates will be available via our website and social media channels.

So, lets continue to cross our (soon to be chilly) fingers and toes and keep doing a little snow dance for Mother Nature!
