Picture IT!

My family and I have been waiting anxiously for the opening of the 2010 Winter Games since the announcement was made that they would be held in Vancouver. The games are always fun to watch, but the community spirit and national pride that has been building since the announcement was made is what has really made this exciting.
Last night we gathered in front of the television for the opening ceremonies and watched the athletes walk proudly into BC Place....well, my wife and daughter did, I remember a few countries starting with the letter A....and then it was morning zZzZ...

There was no finer sight today than natural snow falling through the sunny skies this morning...BRING IT ON!

In the spirit of the Winter games, our Pee Wee Ski Camp wrapped up their 6 week Saturday program with a fun race on the Kids Stuff run...

Andrew J. arrives for a day on the slopes.

Gracie M. is all smiles while she waits for her "Parent and Tot" lesson to begin at the Brimacombe Snow School.

Now THIS is a HAT!

Brimacombe Snow School Instructors go over the game plan before lesson time.

Joan P. and Christine D. spend some mother daughter time together at the Brim.

As I write the 2nd event in the 2010 BRIMACOMBE SATURDAY NIGHT RAIL JAM SERIES is underway. We have an even bigger crowd of participants this time around, and that means the skiers and riders are working even harder to throw down some impressive tricks.

Here's a peak at the action so far...

The SATURDAY NIGHT RAIL JAM SERIES is made possible by our gracious sponsors the BRIMACOMBE PROSHOP our very own onsite retail store, SCOTTIES SKIS AND BOARDS Whitby, CLARKE SOMMERVILLE SPORTS Cobourg, MONSTER ENERGY, Nomis, and Elan. Thanks for your generous support!

Join us NEXT SATURDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2010 for BRIMACOMBE'S ANNUAL SLOPESTYLE COMPETITION in the Main Park!
