Cold around the Brim!

Waking up this morning to -19 (as per my thermometer at home) was a pleasant surprise! Yes it was cold, but it made for some GREAT snow making weather!

We are currently making snow on the Promenade, Clubhouse Run, and Kid's Stuff trails...inching us closer to having more terrain open in the near future.

The colder the temperature is the more effective our system becomes at converting water to gold...errrr, I mean SNOW (as valuable to us as gold). Here are a few pictures from today of our snow making efforts over at the west.

I didn't get out on my skis today, but everyone I talked to praised the "fast" snow conditions. If you are still sitting at home contemplating whether or not to load up your car with your gear and head out here....you've been missing out on some stellar run time.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Pro shop this season stop in next time you're out. We have some really great gear at great prices including some new BRIMACOMBE branded clothing.

We have everything from skis to sweaters and tons of stuff in between...and don't forget, every dollar spent here stays here!

We will be open for day AND night skiing tomorrow (December 30, 2009). If you have never been night skiing you really should add it to your list of things to do this winter. Skiing under the stars on our brightly illuminated trails adds something special to the experience we offer here at Brimacombe.

Another day of fun at the Brim, with many more in the future.

Cheers,
Mark
