Snowmaking...CHECK!

A familiar hiss filled the air....

At approximately 1 p.m. this afternoon (Dec 10, 09) the valves were opened and the snow began to flow from our system. Though the temperature out here is still on the mild side, it is slowly dropping into a more productive range. Currently snow making guns are operating on the Standard, and Bunny Blvd. runs, and in our main terrain park.

With the snow piles beginning to grow out here, it's time to really start thinking about getting your gear prepped for opening day. Our on-site Pro shop has a full line of great products at great prices! If you just need a tune up, the service shop is also open for the season. Don't forget, all dollars spent here, stay here!

The BRIMACOMBE PARK PASS program went live to our website yesterday, if you plan to ski or ride in our main terrain park you will need to complete the program to receive your pass. More information is available on our Terrain Park page at www.brimacombe.ca/park_pass

A park pass is not required to access our "progression" park. Helmets are mandatory for anyone accessing our terrain parks, No Inverted Aerial Maneuvers permitted.

Park Pass programs are growing in popularity at resorts across Canada and the US. This season alone at least 6 other Ontario resorts are introducing similar programs to ours with the intent to promote safety and etiquette in our terrain parks. Together we can reduce the risks associated with freestyle terrain, Ride safe, Ride Smart.

For those of you who have followed my ramblings over the past few years, I'd like to thank-you and welcome you back, for those who have just discovered my Blog...welcome to the show. I try to update as often as possible, at least once a week and sometimes daily. The intent of this Blog is to keep you up to date on all the fun and excitement happening at the BRIM.

Cheers,
Mark
